Obituary for David Alan Fehskens

David Alan Fehskens
Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Southern California where his immediate family subsequently moved to Jackson, New Jersey. David passed peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in his home surrounded by love and laughter.

David was raised and predeceased by two loving parents, Warren and Renee Fehskens as well as his Mother in Law, Anna Royds.

David was lovingly adored and cherished by his wife of thirty-eight years, Mary (Royds) Fehskens. Meeting during their elementary years through Mary’s brother, they reconnected later in life and were inseparable during their many adventures and journeys.

David was the proud Father of Matthew Alan Fehskens and Kristina Renee Demian. He was graced by the love of his Daughter in Law, Susan Marie Fehskens and Son in Law, Matthew (Cleo) John Demian.

Prior to his sad passing, David achieved his only desire during the last few years to become a Grandfather to Benjamin Alan Fehskens. Although not able to travel, David was able to see and hear his Grandson, which gave him great happiness and joy during his final time with us.

David is survived by his Father in Law, Joseph Royds, loving brother, Brian Fehskens and a doting Unk, Alvin Tobias. All of whom shared many adventures together.

David was also a naturalized brother of Ralph, Bill, Michael and Thomas Royds. All of whom blessed him with the “Outlaws”, Patrice, Susan, Nancy and Carol.

David shared his love of Jimmy Buffett with is Niece Cara Weidling and his love of music with his Nephew Joseph Royds.

David was also the proud Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews.

David was intensely proud of his time with Fuji Photo Film and Customer Engineering Services. Not only did he enjoy his career, but he was proud of the relationships and extended family that were built there.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1pm at the Barletta home, 528 Indiero Road, Jackson, NJ 08527. Hawaiian shirts and flip flops are encouraged.

David touched so many lives and left his footprint on the hearts of so many people.
