Obituary for John Morgan Clark

John Morgan Clark
John Morgan Clark of Naples Florida died peacefully in his sleep, at home with his family, on October 2, 2018. He was born on February 25, 1944 to Virginia and Samuel Clark in Harrisburg, PA. John received his BA degree from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, which is where he met his wife Lynn (Carolyn Johanson). Over his career he held several sales positions in the financial and computer software fields, and most recently was a manager with a credit card manufacturer in Exton, PA.

John had many hobbies and interests including woodworking, car restoring, restoring old arcade games, and model boat building. He had a passion for reading, mostly non-fiction books about 20th century military history. He also loved sailing and being on the water. After retiring early, he and Lynn moved aboard their sailboat and traveled down the intracoastal waterway from Rock Hall Maryland to Key Largo Florida for the winter. John always had a project going, enjoyed a good cigar and a rum drink.

He is survived by Lynn, his wife of 52 years, daughter Jennifer and her husband Tony Farnum, son Morgan and his wife Ann Cupples, and four grandsons: Nicholas Farnum, Mason Farnum, Liam Clark and Nolan Clark.

Respecting John’s wishes there will be no services. At a later date, his ashes will be scattered on the Chesapeake Bay.
